If you rather not visit a stranger's abode, the Greatmoon Groves may have a place secluded of people.
Then... I'm glad I'm here. [...] Not that I'm happy to be away from home, just that if I'm anywhere away from it, this is not a bad place to be.
I'll try not to. I didn't have much of a choice back home, but here it feels like I do. Maybe I can finally introduce myself as who I really am here.
[Honestly, bumping into Soundwave was a very good thing for Penny. If it had been anyone that looked like her, she probably would have found it a bit harder to take the advice. But Soundwave is so different from her, and she feels she can take the advice more readily.]
It's nice to meet you as well, Soundwave. [A cool name to go with a cool-looking robot! Wow. She quickly starts walking to keep pace with him.] I don't mind either way - I feel like I can trust you. [Granted, she's fairly trusting to begin with, but she doesn't see any reason not to.]
[It's rather fortunate they bumped into each other like this, circumstances aside. Although Soundwave does have a human avatar, something he uses occasionally here for mundane or moonlacing activities where his large size couldn't accommodate so easily, she is way better off hearing that when he's as a mech than a human.
He pauses for a second after what Penny said to him.]

[Penny isn't the first person to trust him so readily, so fortunately for him, he could mask his surprise at that better.
Still, it's a bit of an odd feeling to hear someone say they trust him, actually. Some people here can be a bit too trusting, especially to those they just met. It's weird, but that aside, Soundwave has no other plan except to find them some privacy and help Penny with her getting comfortable with her identity.]
[She might be a bit too trusting, but given her circumstances, trust and friendship are all she has. She can at least see when someone is obviously evil, but it invites the possibility that someone could manipulate her. (Thankfully, that has not happened.)

Once they reached his apartment, he opens the door and they'll be greeted by one small kitten, rainbow-colored fur which also seems to glitter in the light. She mews up at Soundwave in greeting and then curiously turns her head to Penny.]
I'm back, Opal. I brought a guest today. [Talking to his pet is normal, okay.]
[She wouldn't mind even if it did take long, really - she likes walking around.
The moment she sees the small kitten, she lets out an audible gasp - it's so small! And fuzzy!! And it glitters!!!]
Oh! So cute! Hello there, Opal! [She's... gonna refrain from trying to pet, though, on account of being afraid of hurting the little thing. Still working on restraint and all that. But she still gives Opal a small wave.]
I've never seen a creature with rainbow fur before. It's so adorable!
[Penny may have not gone for the pet, but the tiny kitten walks over to her regardless, sniffing her boot before brushing herself against her leg. Already taken a liking to the android.]
She's a native of this world. Apparently she's a rare breed.
[And one he adopted out of sheer loneliness. Anyways. He holds the door open for Penny after he steps inside.]
[Aaaa, so precious! Penny can't help letting out a small delighted sound at the kitten.
A few seconds pass before she realizes the door is being held open for her, and with a quick apologetic smile, she follows Soundwave inside.] Thank you.
She's native, huh? I wonder if they'd let me adopt a small animal here, too. [A small cat... or even a small dog!]
[He doesn't mind if Penny stares at his pet longer, people seem to be charmed by Soundwave's pet kitty, anyway. Opal follows Penny in, brushing her fur against her ankle as he leads her in after closing the door.]
I don't see why they wouldn't. There are animal shelters at the Greatmoon Groves that allow adoptions of animals. [It's where he got his kitten.] Make yourself at home.
[Despite being an alien robot, the inside of the living room is surprisingly bare and normal, nothing really stands out. Aside from the cat toys scattered around on the mattress, he kept his place clean and spotless.]
